Since designing the surface of a product like this can be approached in several ways, and, because there is an abundance of visual material available to use, (photos, graphics, logos, album and single covers, just to name a few) we chose to use a collage approach to cover the entire surface. This way, one single product could use a large variety of the available visual material while still using a single theme.
To develop "Buttons", required painstakingly creating more than 50 buttons from scratch using the available visual material. These buttons did not exist until now, and this collage/pattern created by them is being used here for the first time.
For "Singles", there are so many 45 rpm single covers available to work with from all over the world, that for this design, we took many of the single covers available and with them, created a second non-repeating collage.
This is the only product group within The Beatles Collection that is not limited edition.
