Seth Long Keaveny

SETH LONG KEAVENY, was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1975. He received a BA in psychology from Tulane University, and continued his education at the Savannah College of Art and Design to receive a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Furniture Design. In May of 2002, he established his design / studio art firm, Keaveny LLC. Maintaining a modernistic approach along with formalistic beliefs, his company focuses its attention on furniture and small product designs for manufacturers both domestically and internationally. Dubbed one of the ten most “Avant-Guard” designers practicing in the United States, he continually focuses strict adherence to visual balance, composition, and structural integrity in an attempt to successfully unite the qualities of utility within functional design.
