We had been working on several other 4 pen set designs and the one that we chose to develop further was very elaborate and colorful. However, it was taking us too long and to proceed with this particular design would have put us behind schedule. When the use of black and white photo was suggested to us. (since it had quickly and recendy become iconic by being used on billboards in cities across the country, on TV ads, print ads etc., to promote that The Beatles were now available on iTunes), it was quickly agreed to make this change. Credit for the idea of this design has to go to Joe Marziotto for suggesting this image. We will still be releasing that other design in the near future as well as two or three more 4 pen sets.
