The Lamy AL-star glossy red boasts an eye-catching highlight: Its bright orange ink feed. This brilliant color is most effective when combined with inks in similar orange, yellow or red shades, like the special color "mango" that comes with the writing instrument.
Would you prefer to use the Lamy AL-star glossy red with a traditional dark ink, for example blue or black? Then simply switch to the alternative grip with a black ink feed.
