India Mahdavi is a designer with a worldwide reputation who has always had a fondness for Caran d'Ache. Today she is happy to be exploring the world of the brand: Discovering the expertise and history of Caran dAche was like returning to my childhood: their workshops are like sweetshops, full of colours. They take such care with every pencil, every lead, every pen, and the possibilities are endless.
The artist has played with contrasts in colours and dressed each pen and its case with pastel and acidic motifs standing out proudly as if cut from the magnificent Swiss mountainside Castor and Pollux.
