In honour of the foundation date of the Faber-Castell company in 1761, this exclusive edition is limited to 1,761 pieces per writing instrument. The edition is engraved on the clip ring of fountain pens, roller ball pens, propelling pencils, and ballpoint pens.
SNAKEWOOD
The special grain to which the reddish-brown veined snakewood owes its name is a magical feature - this wood is among the most expensive in the world and is especially prized in instrument making and exclusive works of art.
MAGIC EYE CATCHER
Snakewood is one of the most strikingly grained noble woods, and is the wood used in a limited edition of our Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Line, from which everything started more than 20 years ago.
It is very slow growing, and only the core of this family of woods native to Brazil has this characteristic grain pattern - mottled like a snakeskin.
A MASTERPIECE
Every piece a unique item in its colour and appearance - a beauty created by nature! The typical Graf von Faber-Castell fluting and the wood surfaces painstakingly waxed by hand, in combination with high-gloss platinised fittings, bring the wood's structure particularly to the fore.
HIGH QUALITY PRESENTATION
Limited Edition
The writing instruments are presented in an attractive, brown wooden case. A certificate bearing Count Anton Wolfgang von Faber-Castell's signature attests to the limitation.
