The Happy Prince ink starts bright and vibrant but dries to a softer blue with reduced saturation. The image shows the ink after drying. Its blue and gold blend makes it ideal for striking yet readable drawings. It evokes the look of a statue with fading gold leaf.

You can use Wearingeul Glistening inks with fountain pens, but only for F/M/B nibs, not for EF nib. Even with bold and thick nibs, you need to give special care to the fountain pen and have to clear and clean the feed often.
