GRAPHILO's specialized high-quality paper is designed specifically for fountain pen inks.
The paper is specially coated on both sides with an organic filler that dramatically reduces the pores in the paper and provides a uniform surface that prevents feathering and bleeding. By adjusting the composition of the filler, the ink is less likely to soak through to the other side, even when using a thick nib or writing in layers.
The uniform coated layer brings out the beautiful ink sheen and rich expression of shading.
Its texture gives excellent pen control without the scratchy or grabby feel.
There is usually a difference in quality between the front and back of a specialty paper. Some papers have big differences, but with GRAPHILO the quality of the front and back is virtually the same.
