Following the success of Narwhal Original Series debuted in 2019, Nahvalur is taking this series further. Nahvalur Original Plus series maintains the affordable price point while upgrading the filling system from a piston to a vacuum system. This series still features the in-house developed no. 6 stainless steel nib.

For "vacuum filler" fountain pens, the tip at the back (the piston knob) must always be unscrewed slightly to let the ink flow through when you write for a long time. Therefore, when the piston knob is completely screwed in, the rubber piece at the end of the metal rod inside seals the reservoir of the nib and prevents the ink from flowing to the end of it (recommended during transport or when the fountain pen is not in use).

The Nahvalur Nautilus combines vintage materials with modern designs. When fountain pens were first invented, all of them were made of a hardened rubber called ebonite. Today, hardly any pen companies are still using this beautiful material. The Nautilus series is bringing back this retro material while combining modern design elements. Three portholes are carefully crafted onto the body of the fountain pen to allow users to view the ink reserve.
